If you are having trouble submitting a form
or logging in, you may have a firewall or internet security software that is blocking
access. The following will help you troubleshoot. Please select one of the
following:
1) Home User/Single PC (not on a
network)
In order to utilize our site
you must allow user/client sessions. 95% of the time it is a firewall or
security software preventing the site from working properly. You may need to
configure your internet security or firewall software properly.
To determine if this is the case
you can briefly disable the software to test. If it works when the software is disabled then
re-enable and adjust the settings that will allow user sessions/server based
cookies or make an acceptation for our site. See common software and setting below.
2) On a Network (within company)
Your company may have a firewall or internet security software that
prevents/blocks user sessions. Contact your IT/LAN Administrator to
troubleshoot. When contacting them explain the problem. Mention that our site uses
"server side user sessions". They maybe able to either configure the software to accept our
site as a "safe" site, reduce the security for our site or allow server side
connections/cookies for our site. We would be happy to work with your IT
department to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. Please have them contact us at
262-255-7400.
Common Software and Solutions
1. WatchGuard - in the http proxy settings
allow client connection information. This will allow our site to create a server side cookie on our system.
2. Norton Internet Security
- the most common solution is to temporarily disable the internet security to operate the site
effectively, or configure it to give access to this site.
3. Internet Explorer - reduce the
security zone to medium. Select Tools -> Internet Options. Select the security
tab and select medium or medium low. Make sure "allow cookies" is checked.
4. Zone Alarm - in the privacy tab add
our site to the acceptable site list and make sure all options are
allowed/checked. (make sure privacy headers is checked)
