In addition, BW Papersystems’ portfolio includes stationery, passport production and specialized paper-converting applications, as well as book-on-demand binding lines, digital print finishing and RFID processing technology.     Job Description: Position Description: Under general direction, the Project Manager will be responsible for providing project management discipline to a product line.  This role performs project execution and client coordination across the company to include activities such as proposal development and presentation, leadership of the project resources, budgeting, forecasting, project scheduling, engineering, integration, installation, start-up and project closure.  The Project Manager is a single source of coordination for both internal and external stake-holders. Essential Functions: Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product management at pre-sale proposal stage; provide technical, solutions-based presentations to meet client needs while supporting sales team Define metrics with stakeholders to measure project performance; provide support as needed Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure project is delivered on time, within budget, adheres to high-quality standards, and meets or exceeds customer expectations Assemble project teams; manage resource allocation and day-to-day operations of the project; serve as a liaison between project team members and stakeholders requesting project updates Generate project schedule, cost estimates, and gross profit analysis; manage scope of work to meet or exceed these goals Partner with outside OEMs to define scope of requirements, manage purchasing process and ensure execution and accountability Responsible for all project documentation control and formal communication Provide status updates to key stakeholders via regular meetings and reports Liaise with various functions to ensure integration meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications Lead, direct, coach less experienced team members and/or project manager Other duties as assigned Job Specifications: Strong written and oral communication skills Organizational skills and a keen attention to detail Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Excellent customer service skills; the ability to interface effectively and influence all levels of both internal and external customers Demonstrated goal, budget, profit and ROI management Demonstrated experience with large, complex projects Experience to manage multi-discipline internal and external experts Demonstrated excellent planning skills and use of project planning tools Ability to work in a matrix reporting environment with various stakeholders Experience with drafting/engineering software (AutoCAD, Solid Works or equivalent – job description generally not list brand names – keep generic) Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree required; B.S. in Engineering preferred Minimum 5 years project management experience required Supervisory/Responsibility: Reports to New Equipment Team Leader; no direct supervision, but leads and directs cross-functional project teams  Work Environment: Works in an office environment but is frequently exposed to manufacturing conditions to include noise, fumes, odors, gases, dust, and hazards such as moving mechanical and electrical machinery.  Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided to mitigate or eliminate these hazards and all employees will be trained on appropriate use of PPE. Physical Demands: Role moves and transverses frequently; constantly requires the ability to position oneself for long periods of time in order to attend meetings and use the computer and office equipment as well as to inspect, observe, or diagnose equipment Position Type: This is a regular, full-time position with the understanding that a regular workweek will require extended days and hours as needed to meet business needs.
